Summary:
The Wastewater Treatment Plant Assistant Project Manager will work in tandem with the PM, who's responsible for overseeing the construction, installation, and commissioning of wastewater treatment facilities.
This role requires coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supervise the construction of wastewater treatment plants, ensuring adherence to design specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to facilitate smooth project execution.
* Manage construction schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to resolve construction challenges.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on the construction site.
* Maintain detailed construction documentation, including progress reports and change orders.
* Communicate effectively with government agencies, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Oversee the testing and commissioning of new systems and equipment
* Train plant personnel on the operation and maintenance of newly installed systems.
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on water or wastewater treatment construction.
* Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.
* Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Proficient in construction management software and tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.
