We are now hiring an experienced Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Technician to actively support organizational compliance to include OSHA, State, and local manufacturing regulations.

Provide direction and recommendations to ensure programs and services are in compliance with the highest environmental, health, and safety standards.
Assist in the review and development of EHS policies, procedures, and best practices to include: ensuring policies and procedures are updated to meet current business needs and requirements with a focus on the environment, health, and safety.
Conduct hazard, risk analysis and code compliance inspections and audits of the facility and grounds.
Conduct safety audits to identify work hazards, risks, and exposures.
Assist with tracking of incidents, exposures and evaluating trends.
Maintain environmental recordkeeping and the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) program and requirements.
Build, present and track all safety training and toolbox talks (shift meetings) for Production Employees according to the set training schedule.
Attend 5-Why Root Cause Analysis discussions post-incident to assist in alleviating repeated incidents.
Ensure proper storage locations, labeling, use, and disposal of hazardous chemicals is conducted properly.
Assist with the oversite of wastewater, solid waste management, and hazardous materials safety program.
Conduct quarterly emergency drills to include (fire, evacuation, tornado, etc.
).
