Weld supervisor/quality control

Responsibilities: - Perform welding tasks using various techniques and equipment - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols - Assemble and fabricate metal components based on specifications - Conduct inspections to ensure welds meet quality standards - Operate power tools and machinery for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal - Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding or a related field - Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately - Familiarity with power tools, ductwork, machining, and plasma cutting - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes - Detail-oriented with the ability to produce high-quality welds - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
