Responsibilities
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for the removal of mandrel and staging of hose for the Finishing Operator.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Based upon work instruction, prepare the product for processing, and apply the designated pressure for blow-out
Troubleshoot removal issues to maximize quantity of production
Remove excess water from processed hose
Complete associated paperwork and indicate length of hose for next stage processing
Transfer mandrel for next stage processing
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment.
Notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk.
Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to management immediately.
Prevent excess waste of product and/or components by operating the equipment in an efficient manner.
Maintain production schedules.
Participate in peer-based teams (i.
e.
, Natural High Performance Teams), and work with groups to initiate and implement programs such as Lean Manufacturing and 5-S.
Other duties may be assigned at a later time

Production work preferred but not required.
