Come grow with us! *Job Requirements:* Engage in repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, equipment and in maintenance of buildings, grounds and utility systems of a manufacturing plant or other establishment by performing the following duties personally or through other subordinates.
*Responsibilities:·* *This is a 2nd shift position.
* * Works on work order requests from production floor and determines priority * Follows all safety and good manufacturing processes * Communicate to production and quality assurance equipment break downs and estimated time needed to complete repairs.
* Communicate updates to incoming maintenance personnel on status of break downs, repairs and troubleshooting done during the previous shift.
* Observes and listens to sounds of mechanical devices in operation to locate any signs of trouble.
* Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
* Repairs or replaces effective parts.
· Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
* Lubricates and cleans parts, equipment and machinery.
* Tests and adjusts equipment to meet performance specifications.
* Set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, saws and other metal working tools to make and repair parts * Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
* Repairs electrical equipment, including PC controllers.
* Maintains a flexible schedule to accommodate variable shifts from 8 – 12 hrs.
depending on maintenance workload.
* Available for on - call status.
* Participates and trains with the Safety Team.
* Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
*Qualifications/ Experience:·* Education: High School diploma at minimum· Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Forklift Certification· Have experience with the following: * Hydraulics * Electrical wiring (110, 220, 480) * Water pumpso industrial burners * tig welding, stick welding, and mig welding * Industrial air compressors * Carpentry skills * Knowledge of gas applications Physical Demands: * While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
* The employee is regularly required to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
* The employee is occasionally required to sit, taste or smell.
* The employee must regularly lift and or move up to10 lbs.

and occasionally lift and or move up to 70lbs.
* The employee is regularly required to work at heights.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
