*Job Summary*
We are seeking a responsible and dependable Receptionist to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Duties of the Receptionist include providing support to our leadership team, staff, residents and visitors, assisting with our daily office needs, and managing general administrative activities.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools such as Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
A successful Receptionist should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Candidates will be responsible for handling confidential/sensitive information and will deal with a diverse group of callers and visitors, as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize workload.
*Essential Functions*

* Maintains office supplies by checking inventory
* Establishes, develops and maintains filing system

* Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls
* Knowledge of multi-line telephone system preferred
* Types and designs general correspondence, responsible for accuracy and clarity
* Be able to work independently
* Provides and initiates, creative, practical problem solving recommendations and/or takes the initiative to appropriately enhance job duties or area
* Attends training and/or development programs as appropriate to meet or enhance current job or career knowledge

This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers (desk top/lap top), multi-line phone system, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
